This course examines the relationships of marine and estuarine organisms to environmental factors; interactions among organisms; ecological processes of energy and materials flow; studies of key marine communities and ecosystems. The final module of study will be focused on marine conversation ecology. Throughout the course there will be an emphasis on ecology in Louisiana’s coastal zones.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: C or better in BIOS 2014.
