Computer Science Minor

Minor Requirements

An undergraduate majoring in a department other than Computer Science may earn a minor in Computer Science by completing the following computer science courses each with a grade of C or better:

• CSCI 2120 - Software Design and Development II - Credits: 3
• CSCI 2125 - Data Structures - Credits: 3
• CSCI 2450 - Machine Structure and Assembly Language Programming - Credits: 3
• CSCI 3301 - Computer Design & Organization - Credits: 3

•  

  And:

  • Choose two 3-credit 4000-level courses selected from an approved list. 

  A transfer student must complete a minimum of nine credit hours in required computer science courses at UNO, and these must include CSCI 2125  and a three credit 4000-level course from the approved list.

   

  (It should be noted that credit or concurrent enrollment in MATH 3721  is required for CSCI 2125 . Also, credit in CSCI 1583  & CSCI 1581  or CSCI 1584  and CSCI 1585  is required for CSCI 2120 .)
