Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) for B.S. Professional Pilot

Develop fundamental knowledge and flying skills to operate commercial transport aircrafts in a safe and professional manner.

Demonstrate comprehension of aircraft power plant, airframe, communication devices, and navigation tools to conduct effective and safe commercial flights.

Analyze aircraft aerodynamics and performance under varying loading and meteorological conditions.

Discuss national airspace systems, airport management, and commercial airline operational procedures.

Exhibit good verbal and written communication proficiencies, crew resource management skills, and professionalism to be an effective commercial pilot.
