Design spiral; Definition of design convergence; Selection of principal dimensions, arrangement drawings, lines plan development, 3D-modeling, CAD-CAM; Requirements-driven design; Resistance and propulsion; Economical and environmental assessment; Design organization and project management; Weight estimate; Margin policy development; Space- versus weight-driven design.
