This course explores the art of theatre through historical treatises, theories, and contemporary practices, focusing on the many varied approaches to creative theatre making, from models for collaboration to etiquette and organizational structures. FTA intends to train students for further study in Theatre Arts. FTA majors cannot receive degree credit for both FTA 1000 - Theatre Appreciation and FTA 1005.
