The course focus will be on the biology and diversity of estuarine and marine life. It will provide a background on the life history, origin, taxonomy, and habitat of micro-organisms, algae, plants, invertebrates, fishes, and mammals in aquatic ecosystems. The course focus will be on diverse characteristics organisms have to meet the challenges of aquatic life. Three hours of lecture and 3 hours of laboratory per week.
