SOC 2707 - Social Statistics I College of Liberal Arts, Education and Human Development
Lecture/Lab - Credits: 4
Offered each semester. A study of descriptive and inferential statistics employed in social science research including measures of central tendency and variation, rates, graphing techniques, measures of association, tests of significance, and regression. Laboratory meetings also cover introduction to computer usage, spread sheets, and PC-based statistics programs. Successful completion of SOC-2707 and SOC 2708 meets the general degree requirement for computer literacy. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory.
