SOC 2708 - Methods in Social Research College of Liberal Arts, Education and Human Development
Lecture - Credits: 3
Offered each semester. A comprehensive examination of the logic and applications of the scientific method in the social sciences. Topics include survey, evaluation, experiment, existing sources, and field research. In addition, the student is introduced to computer usage, including work processing and data analysis with a statistics package on a main frame computer. Successful completion of SOC 2707 and SOC-2708 meets the general degree requirement for computer literacy.
